Main weather concerns: Strong thunderstorms will move through Marion, Sumter, and Lake Counties through late afternoon. Expect wind gust over 40 mph, lightning, and heavy rain. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will linger through the evening for Orange and Osceola Counties. These storms will continue to track to the Northeast headed towards the Space Coast. Brevard County has already seen rainfall totals between 2-3" today, so localized flooding will be a threat. BEACHES
Partly sunny skies on Sunday at the beaches, then a slight chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon. There is an 80 % chance of showers and thunderstorms. Not the best beach day. Highs will be near 90, but "feels-like" temperatures will range from 102-106. Make sure to stay hydrated. The water temperature will be in the low 80s. The rip current risk will be moderate, as seas will reach 2-3 ft.
THEME PARKS
A rainy day for the parks on Monday. Rain starts early around 8 am and continues through the late afternoon. The storms will clear out by 5 pm, just in time to get a clear view of the fireworks.
