Orlando weather: Breezy and clear skies, chilly temperatures through overnight

Saturday evening's weather will remain cool and breezy, with temperatures dropping overnight in Central Florida.

What will the weather look like tonight?

What To Expect:

A clear and breezy rest of the day is expected.

Clear skies are forecast through overnight, allowing temperatures to get chilly.

Temperatures will drop into the low 50s in the Orlando area, with temperatures falling into the 40s across our FOX 51 locales.

What will the weather look like for the rest of the weekend?

What's next:

Temperatures will start off cool on Sunday morning, so you might need a jacket if you plan on getting an early start to your day.

Morning lows will be in the 40s and 50s across Central Florida, but we are in for a perfect day to be outside, with temperatures rebounding into the upper 70s and low 80s by the afternoon.

Sunshine and pleasant conditions are on tap for the rest of the weekend. The breeze will also lighten up tomorrow, making it a beautiful rest of the weekend.

High pressure takes hold and sets us up for a beautiful rest of the weekend and a very nice workweek.

Clear conditions are on tap Sunday night, with lows remaining cooler than normal.

What will the weather look like next week?

Dig deeper:

With high pressure continuing to dominate, temperatures will pop back above average at the start of the workweek.

Highs on Monday and Tuesday will top off through the upper 80s in Orlando.

A weak cold front will move through Tuesday night, but this front will not have a lot of moisture to work with, so there will be a few clouds streaming in but no rain (unfortunately).

Cooler air will bring our temperatures down back into the low 80s on Wednesday, with overnight lows sliding into the lower to middle 50s.

Overall, we are in for a sunshine-filled week with low humidity, so conditions will be comfortable and perfect for any outdoor activities.

Drought conditions worsen across Central Florida

Dig deeper:

Drought conditions are something we will need to continue to monitor, as we will not really be seeing any rain for the next seven days.

Drought conditions are now moderate to severe across Central Florida.

Fire weather will be a concern for the next week, especially as the breeze picks up again on Tuesday and Wednesday.
