Orlando weather: Cold front brings plenty of sunshine with storm system approaching on Monday

High pressure is building in behind Saturday's cold frontal passage and that will make for plenty of sunshine today. The wind will be coming in from the northeast, which is an onshore flow for us.

What to expect: That will temp to moderate ever so slightly, topping out in the lower to middle 60s. Along the coast, temps may struggle to get out of the upper 50s with the help of the water. Sunshine prevails through the evening before clouds start to thicken overnight.

These clouds stream in ahead of our next storm system, which is slated to arrive on Monday. The cloud cover tonight will limit the temperature tumble, with overnight lows expected in the middle to upper 40s.

ANOTHER COLD FRONT, CHANCE FOR RAIN

What's next: The quiet end to our weekend gives way to an unsettled start to our workweek! A storm system moving in from the Gulf will help ignite some showers and isolated downpours as it slides through the area.

The chance for showers holds through Monday night into early Tuesday as the cold front continues to work southeastward. Some upper-level "energy" is still overhead on Wednesday, so we don't completely clear out, but it's looking drier and chillier. Highs only rise into the lower to middle 60s with lows falling back into the 40s.

Drier and cooler air filters southward into late week with overnight readings once again dipping into the 30s by Thursday night.

A big boost in our temps then develops ahead of a system that looks to arrive next weekend. Highs spike back into the middle and upper 70s by Saturday under a mix of clouds and sun.
