All eyes were the Daytona International Speedway on Sunday as the 63rd running of the Daytona 500 began. The race was paused around 4:30 p.m. as storms rolled in, drenching the track. Drivers were called back to their cars around 9 p.m. for the race to resume.
But the storms are not done yet.
Monday will also serve up active storms, some of which could turn severe. Monday brings another FOX 35 Weather Alert Day as a Marginal Risk of severe storms is indicated then.
