Tracking the Tropics: Fred slows down off coast of Cuba

Fred remained a tropical depression Thursday evening with maximum sustained winds at 35 mph. The storm's movement had slowed to 11 mph as it crossed over the southern Bahamas and brushed the coast of Cuba. It is expected to re-strengthen, forecasters said.
