Salvation Army serves thousands of Thanksgiving meals

It's all about the numbers. For 27 years and counting, the Salvation Army has opened its doors to serve thousands of people Thanksgiving meals in Central Florida. Staff and volunteers handed out 4,500 pounds of turkey, 3,000 pounds of ham, 3,000 pounds of green beans and mashed potatoes, and some 15,000 dessert servings.
