Questions raised over FDOT costs to cover up crosswalks

The state has painted over a rainbow crosswalk for the third time this week, raising questions about cost and legality as residents continue to decorate it with chalk. Seminole County crews are now repainting green nature trail crosswalks after receiving a letter from the Florida Department of Transportation setting a Sept. 4 compliance deadline.
