Push to expand Florida's squatter laws

A new bill to expand Florida's squatter laws is inching closer to becoming a state law. Last year, the governor signed a bill that gave law enforcement the power to remove illegal tenants from homes. New bills filed in the house and senate would take that law one step further and protect "commercial property owners" too.
