VIDEO: Inside the eye of Hurricane Helene

NOAA's Hurricane Hunters flew inside the eye of Hurricane Helene on Wednesday morning to gather data on its strength. Hurricane Hunter Nick Underwood shared video from inside NOAA's WP-3D Orion, also known as "Miss Piggy." Helene came a Category 1 hurricane on Wednesday, and is forecast to rapidly intentify over the next several hours to potential become a major Category 4 hurricane. It is expected to make landfall near Florida's Big Bend region by Thursday night.
