Barrow County Sheriff: 'Hate will not prevail in this county'

Barrow County Sheriff Jud Smith spoke during a Tuesday afternoon press conference regarding the deadly shooting at Apalachee High School. Four people were killed, 2 students and 2 teachers, and nine others were taken to the hospital. The alleged shooter is a 14-year-old student at the school, the sheriff said. "My heart hurts for this community. I want to be clear, hate will not prevail in this county. I want that to be very clear and known. Love will prevail over what happened today. I assure you of that."
