OCPS absence notification policy returns

A recently-approved absence notification policy starts up at Orange County Public Schools on Monday, Aug. 19. The new policy alerts parents if their child is absent earlier in the day, rather than at the end of the school day. It was a change brought about by the disappearance and death of 13-year-old Madeline Soto.
