Neighbors help man in bear encounter

A man out walking his dog in Seminole County encountered a bear on Tuesday night. One neighbor told FOX 35 she heard what sounded like a dog screaming and then saw the bear near the man and his dog. She drove between the bear and the man, while also flashing her lights in an effort to scare the animal away. FWC deputies said the man had a head injury, but that it didn't appear to be from the bear, and instead appeared to be from possibly hitting it on the pavement.
