Man kills girlfriend, claims self-defense: affidavit

An Orlando man was arrested early Sunday after he shot and killed his girlfriend of eight years in the back in what he claimed was self-defense, according to an arrest affidavit. Richard Raciak, 48, was booked into jail on a charge of first-degree murder with a firearm, the Orange County Sheriff's Office confirmed in a statement Monday.
