Oviedo dojo sees more girls pursuing black belts in martial arts

While martial arts might seem like a male-dominated sport, the number of girls and women learning the skills -- and earning their belts -- is growing. Owner James Taylor said at his school, 70% of his participants are girls and 20% achieve their black belt -- way above the average 3-5% rate globally.
