Florida rent prices rising: Affordable housing community opening for seniors in Orlando

A new study from Florida Atlantic University shows over the past year rent has gone up nearly 24-percent in the Orlando area. The average rent now sits around $2,000 making it hard for many to afford a place to live especially those on a fixed income.
