National Guard urging evacuations in Flagler Beach

In the aftermath of Hurricane Milton, National Guard members are going door to door in Flagler Beach, warning residents in the area of South 23rd Street and South Daytona Avenue about increasing flooding and urging them to evacuate. Neighbors made it through the night alright, but officials expect the water there to continue to rise at least four more feet.

Cocoa Beach mayor: City avoided worst despite tornadoes

Volusia Co. resident wades through water to escape home

Multiple water rescues have been conducted in the area of Big Tree Road in South Daytona where high water from Hurricane Milton has flooded the neighborhood and entered some homes. FOX 35's Amanda McKenzie spoke with a woman who waded through the water to get out of her home. She says the neighborhood just recently recovered from Hurricane Ian and is now dealing with more flooding.
