Clermont neighborhood evacuated due to flooding

The Emerald Lake mobile home park in Clermont, Florida, was evacuated on Sunday as floodwaters began to rise. An officer told FOX 35's Chris Lindsay that not everyone complied with the voluntary evacuation. Some areas are expected to flood as rainfall and water from Hurricane Milton hits rivers and lakes.

Officials: 'This is not the time' to visit beaches after Milton

Volusia County officials are warning people not to visit the beach due to debris and strong rip currents following Hurricane Milton. "Right now, the ocean is plagued with debris that can cause serious harm. The waves and currents can pull under the strongest of swimmers," the county said in a news release.
