Historic Torah rescued from Orlando fire dedicated

A dedication ceremony was held for a Torah scroll that was saved after a fire at the Chabad of Greater Orlando last month. Officials told FOX 35 that the scroll was buried in Germany during the Holocaust. "Everyone's safe. The Torah is safe." Rabbi told us they're still looking for a venue to hold their worship services.

Florida woman goes into labor during Hurricane Milton

Talk about a wild welcome into the world. A mother was hunkering down during Hurricane Milton when she went into labor. 911 was called, but due to the winds, it was too dangerous for ambulances to be out on the road. So, Polk County deputies picked the mother up and took her to the hospital. In Pinellas County, a mom also went into labor.

More than 120 tornado warnings were issued across Florida -- a record number of tornado warnings issued in a 24 hour period in the state, the NWS said.
