Emotional FSU shooting tribute in Tallahassee

State Senator Corey Simon gave an emotional tribute to the victims of the mass shooting at Florida State University last week that killed 2 and injured 6. Senator Simon broke down on the State Senate Floor, and Senators from both parties rushed to his side to console him as he called for a moment of silence for the victims of the shooting. Senate President Ben Albritton called a recess, and once he called the Senate back into order, Senator Tina Polsky introduced four FSU students who were in the Student Union during the mass shooting, one of which also survived the Parkland shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in 2018.
