Court records show the man who shot two Orlando Police officers last Friday night was supposed to be under police supervision. He was required to wear an ankle monitor issued out of Georgia, but he broke it off. During a June encounter with University of Central Florida officers, Daton Viel could have been arrested but instead of cooperating, Viel took off running and got away. This has sparked concern about ankle monitors and their effectiveness.

Technology allows us to do just about anything and location sharing is one of them. But is tracking your spouse or partner’s location ok? According to a relationship coach, you shouldn’t. Whether you do it, or you don’t, you probably have an opinion about it.

People protested Tuesday afternoon following the death of Ajike"AJ" Owens, who was shot and killed by her neighbor in an Ocala neighborhood, possibly amid a years-long feud. Owens went over to confront her neighbor over allegations that the neighbor through skates and an iPad at her kids. During that confrontation, the neighbor shot through her door, striking Owens, who died at the hospital. New documents show 911 was called a half-dozen times over the years. The neighbor claims the shooting was self-defense. Owens' family wants the neighbor arrested and charged.

Steven Hobbs always wanted a pool. He saved for years, and hired Charles Black with Legacy Pools to build it, paying a $60,000 down payment. But, Hobbs says, problems with Legacy Pools’ construction at his home in Melbourne, Florida started almost immediately.
