WOFL/WRBW to present the 2018 Florida Cup in Central Florida

WOFL/ WRBW will present the 2018 Florida Cup, which will feature some of Europe's and Latin America's biggest soccer clubs and stars, announced the station's Vice President and General Manager, Allyson Meyers.

Meyers also stated that "since we are an official Licensee of Major League Soccer on FOX 35, including the Men's FIFA World Cup commencing on June of 2018, it makes sense for us to build upon our stable of live sports programming year-round on WRBW."

Florida Cup CEO Ricardo Villar also commented, saying that "as the Florida Cup continues to grow, we are thrilled to partner with my65 and FOX35 to bring this exciting annual event to passionate soccer fans in Central Florida, and statewide through FOX Sports Florida for the first time." 

WRBW/my65 will air one of the Florida Cup's marquee matches, between legendary club Rangers FC of the U.K. and 2017 Brazilian Serie A Champions Sport Club Corinthians at the University of Central Florida's Spectrum Stadium on January 13th at 1 p.m.. The match will also be simulcasted throughout the Sunshine State on FOX Sports Florida. 

FOX 35 'SportsZone' will air special coverage of the competition ahead of the first match on January 10th continuing through the final match on January 20th. 

The Florida Cup, an annual preseason gathering of the world's top soccer clubs, will be played at various venues throughout Central Florida, with six matches located in Orlando. Viewers can visit HERE for more information and to purchase tickets.
