NEW ORLEANS - The Philadelphia Eagles denied the Kansas City Chiefs a Super Bowl three-peat with a dominant defense in a 40-22 rout.
And to no surprise, Hurts is MVP
Jalen Hurts is the Super Bowl MVP after throwing for 221 yards and two scores, plus running for 72 yards and another score.

8:00 pm CT- A man appeared to unfurl a Palestinian flag during Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl halftime show, and then ran on the field with it before being dragged away by security personnel.

It was not immediately clear how the person got onto the field. The show continued without interruption and it did not seem as though the person was shown on the broadcast of Lamar’s performance.

The cameras showed President Trump listening, saluting, which was heard with cheers from the crowd.

Batiste, 38, grew up in the New Orleans area.
He is a Grammy and Oscar winning musician who got his start as the former bandleader for "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert."

6 p.m. ET - President Donald Trump has arrived at the Superdomw, visiting the field before the start of the Super Bowl.
Earlier, the president arrived in New Orleans on Air Force One with family members and a long list of lawmakers.
Where is Super Bowl LIX?
Super Bowl LIX is being played at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana.
New Orleans was originally supposed to host Super Bowl LVIII in 2024, but when the NFL decided to extend the regular season by a game, the move pushed the Super Bowl into conflict with the city’s Mardi Gras celebrations, so the game was moved to Las Vegas and awarded Super Bowl LIX to New Orleans for 2025, when Mardi Gras falls in March.
What time is Super Bowl LIX?
Kickoff for Super Bowl LIX will be 6:30 p.m. ET on Sunday, February 9, but coverage will start much earlier on FOX, FS1, and Tubi.
Who’s performing at the Super Bowl?
Jon Batiste will perform the national anthem at Super Bowl LIX, while Trombone Shorty and Lauren Daigle will perform "America the Beautiful" and Ledisi will perform "Lift Every Voice and Sing."
Kendrick Lamar will headline the Super Bowl halftime show.
Lamar will be bringing hip-hop back to the NFL’s championship game, where he performed as a guest artist with Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, 50 Cent and Eminem in 2022. On Sunday, he becomes the first solo hip-hop artist to headline the halftime show.
SZA will join him but few other details about the performance were revealed, bowing to a tradition in which headliners keep their plans secret.

The Super Bowl halftime show attracts millions of viewers each year.
The rapper’s latest album "Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers" was released in 2022. He was featured on the song "Like That" with Future and Metro Boomin on a track that spent three weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 this year. He also scored another hit with "Not Like Us."

In 2016, Lamar gave a stunning seven-minute performance of tracks such as "The Blacker the Berry" and "Alright" at the 58th Grammy Awards. Lamar dazzled as an opener two years later at the Grammys with a performance of "XXX."
In June, Lamar turned his Juneteenth "Pop Out" concert into a celebration of Los Angeles unity. It came on the heels of his rap battle with Drake during the three-hour concert featuring a mix of p-and-coming LA rappers and stars including Tyler, The Creator, Steve Lacy and YG.
Roc Nation founder Jay-Z called Lamar a "once-in-a-generation" artist and performer.
