Stephanie Rivas is an Emmy Award-winning journalist. She joined FOX 35 Orlando in April 2025 as the traffic and news anchor. You can watch her weekdays from 4 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Good Day Orlando.

Originally from the Southernmost tip of the U.S. in Key West, Florida, Stephanie is a proud Conch! She is also a graduate of Rollins College in Winter Park and attended New York University, where she earned her Master’s in American Journalism.

Stephanie spent over four years at NEWS10 ABC in Albany, New York. As a reporter and weekend anchor, she extensively covered state politics, high-profile crime cases, and in-depth feature stories. She closely covered the sexual harassment allegations against former Governor Andrew Cuomo and reported on the breaking news of his resignation.

Previously, Stephanie worked with American Patriotic Services, a non-profit organization that provides transition programs and morale services for veterans, active-duty military, first responders, and their families. As an ambassador, she traveled to military bases and hospitals across the globe and appeared on national morning shows.

As a journalist, Stephanie has reported on countless veteran and military stories. She provided local perspectives during the end of the Afghanistan War and has hosted in-depth roundtables with OEF/OIF veterans and Vietnam War veterans. In 2025, she received the Seven Seals Award from the Department of Defense and the Employer Support of the National Guard and Reserve for her "leadership" and "support" of those who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces.

Stephanie is the mother of a sweet baby boy and the wife of her college sweetheart. They are thrilled to move back to the Orlando area, the place where they first met many years ago!
