A Southwest Airlines flight nearly took off from a taxiway – not a runway – on Thursday morning at Orlando International Airport after the flight crew apparently thought it was on a runway, the FAA said. An air traffic controller noticed the issue and stopped the flight's departure.

A very Florida welcome home for NASA and SpaceX's Crew-9. Some curious dolphins seemingly wanted to give a personal “welcome home" to the Crew-9 astronauts, moments after they splashed down off the coast of Florida on Tuesday afternoon.

NASA astronauts Suni Williams and Butch Wilmore are back on Earth. NASA and SpaceX's Crew-9 mission successfully splashed down into the Gulf of America, off the Florida Coast on Tuesday evening. It comes nearly 10 months after Williams and Wilmore launched to the International Space Station aboard Boeing's Starliner spacecraft.

On Tuesday evening, NASA's Crew-9 will splash down in the Gulf Coast near Tallahassee, Florida. SpaceX's Dragon spacecraft is carrying Suni Williams and Butch Wilmore, both who have been stranded in space for nine months.

Hours after NASA and SpaceX's Crew-10 mission arrived at the International Space Station, Crew-9 boarded the Dragon spacecraft and undocked from the ISS en route back to Earth.

NASA and SpaceX's Crew-10 – containing four international astronauts – are expected to reach the International Space Station shortly after midnight on Sunday. The spacecraft launched from Florida's Kennedy Space Center on Friday night to begin the 26-hour journey to the ISS.

Americans will have to stay up late or get up really early this week to see the latest celestial event – a total lunar eclipse. The Sun, Earth, and Blood Moon will align on Thursday night and Friday morning.

NASA’s SpaceX Crew-10 is now targeting no earlier than 7:03 p.m. EDT on Friday, March 14, to launch four crew members to the International Space Station.
