As of January 2026, Baileigh Bockover is a reporter and multimedia journalist at FOX35, excited to be back home in Florida after working in eastern North Carolina. A Sarasota-area native, Baileigh is proud to return to the Sunshine State to tell stories that matter to local communities.
Baileigh earned her bachelor's degree in mass communications with a concentration in broadcast news from the University of South Florida. She began her professional career at WITN-TV in Greenville, North Carolina, joining the station in August 2023 as a reporter. She was quickly promoted to an anchor role, where she anchored ENC at 3 and First at 4, leading two hours of live weekday newscasts from 3–5 p.m.
In addition to anchoring, she continued her morning reporting duties and oversaw a sponsored monthly segment, Hometown Hero. Driven by a passion for public speaking, community connection, and upholding journalism’s ethical standards, Baileigh is committed to delivering accurate, engaging news while highlighting positive community spirit.
When she’s not working, Baileigh enjoys maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle.
