The victim told deputies that one of the suspects was wearing a lanyard that said "SWAT" on it and that they were police. She says they told her that they were looking for drugs.

The woman told deputies that the suspects were inside her home on Beckman Drive for about an hour, while she tried to keep her two kids, who are 8 and 11, calm.

Deputies say the suspects ended up stealing thousands of dollars worth of jewelry and threatened to shoot the mother and her two children before they left.

Deputies say the family plans to install some security upgrades to the home.

The Orange County Sheriff's Office says this home invasion is one of at least three to happen in the area recently. Deputies say on November 2, four men robbed a home on nearby Zori Lane.
