Woman critically injured after vehicle hits her in Maitland

MAITLAND, Fla. (FOX 35 ORLANDO) - Eastbound Maitland Boulevard is shutdown between Keller Road and Lake Destiny Drive after a vehicle crashed into a pedestrian. 

The eastbound ramp to S.R. 414 is also closed. Detours and delays are expected. Alternative routes are advised.

Police said that a vehicle hit a female pedestrian around 6:30 a.m. at Maitland Boulevard and Keller Road. The victim was critically injured and transported to the hospital. The driver reportedly stayed on scene.
