Westbound I-4 closing between S.R. 426 and Maitland BLVD
ORLANDO, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - The I-4 Ultimate Project says that they will be closing westbound I-4 between S.R. 426 and Maitland Boulevard at midnight on September 14th, 17th, and 18th. It will re-open at 5 a.m.
The section of I-4 is closing so crews can safely demolish the old Wymore Bridge overpass, says the I-4 Ultimate Project.
Motorists will be reportedly be diverted onto westbound S.R. 436, south onto S.R. 434, and then eastbound on Maitland Boulevard to re-enter westbound I-4 at the I-4 and Maitland Boulevard interchange.
The I-4 Ultimate Project says that they will also close the westbound I-4 entrance at S.R. 436 and the westbound I-4 exit ramps at Maitland Boulevard at 10 p.m. those nights. They will also re-open at 5 a.m.
