VIDEO: Narrow miss as drunk driver blows stop sign
(KMSP) - The driver of a pickup truck narrowly avoided a serious crash when a drunk driver blew through a stop sign on Highway 67 in Yellow Medicine County on Sept. 10. The Minnesota State Patrol released the video this week to remind drivers that extra DWI enforcement is in effect statewide.
Deputy Marshall Doyle was driving east on Highway 67 near the intersection of Road 8 when his dashcam captured this video. The driver of the white car that ran the stop sign was arrested and has pled guilty to DWI.
