Universal Orlando Resort announces dates for 2019 holiday celebrations
ORLANDO, Fla. (FOX 35 ORLANDO) - Universal Orlando Resort has announced the dates for their 2019 holiday celebrations
The park's holiday traditions will begin on November 16th, 2019 and run through January 5th, 2020.
Several holiday experiences will be dispersed throughout the entire destination, including:
- 'Christmas in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter' allows guests to enter a wizarding wonderland for the holidays. The streets of Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley are filled with festive decorations, garlands, lights, and sounds. There will also be a nightly holiday projection show and seasonal foods and beverages.
- 'Universal's Holiday Parade featuring Macy's' features 30 larger-than-life ballons and floats, hundreds of performers, and beloved characters from Universal movies like Despicable Me, Shrek, and Madagascar.
- 'Grinchmas' brings the Grinch to Islands of Adventure with the 'Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular.' This is a live-retelling of the Dr. Suess classic.
- On select nights, Mannheim Steamroller will perform at Universal Studios Florida.
- Universal's hotels will even be decorated with seasonal decor. They will also feature holiday activities and meals.
- Guests can ring in the New Year across Universal Orlando Resort, as there is a celebration for everyone. This includes an upscale party for those 21-years-old and up.
