UCF graduate rolls out new mobile tire company

ORLANDO, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - We demand it, and they deliver it.  Everything from groceries, to pet products and movies.  And now you can add tires to this ever growing on-demand list.

Enter Kal Gohill, a UCF Grad with a degree in engineering who started a new company based in Orlando called GETTREAD.COM 

It's a brand new mobile tire service offering delivery and installation right to your home or office.  Gohill, with his engineering degree along with experience working for Jaguar and Land Rover, saw a need for a service he had the experience to provide. 

"You can go on our website search for any tire you need, any vehicle year make and model, and we bring the tires to you at your home or office, says Kal.  You set your appointment for where you want it done and we come and do the install, super easy no hassle no problem."

Heather Barrett, an executive recruiter and on-demand shopper needed new tires.

"They were long overdue to be changed, reveals Heather.  My husband was all over me, but I am a busy Mom of two and I work out of my house.  Going to sit at a tire place for three hours and finding that time was painful." 

The cost for the service is very competitive, plus a $25 service fee per tire.  

"Basically he matched and beat pricing on all the tires we were looking at, so it was a no-brainer for us to have him come do it in the driveway," says Barrett.

For Kal, the wheels are already in motion as he looks to expand his business outside of his hometown of Orlando.

"Right now we're based in Central Florida and we service the entire Central Florida area, but we want to grow faster," says Kal.
