Truck overturns, spills sheets of plywood on SR-528 eastbound, blocking several lanes
ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. - A crash involving a semi truck dumped plywood onto State Road 528 eastbound in Orange County, blocking several lanes on Wednesday.
The crash happened around 10 a.m. on the eastbound State Road 528 entrance ramp from southbound State Road 417, Florida Highway Patrol said.
According to troopers, the driver of the semi was traveling eastbound on SR-528 hauling plywood. Troopers say the 42-year-old driver lost control going around a curve and overturned, spilling the plywood onto the roadway.
Crews are on the scene cleaning up the plywood. As of noon, there was one lane getting by.
The crash remains under investigation.
