Titusville home bursts into flames

TITUSVILLE, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - A structure fire occurred Thursday morning on Heather Drive in Titusville.

The Titusville Fire Department says there was a report of heavy smoke on all four sides. Fox 35 reporter Amanda McKenzie was on scene and said that firefighters had to cut through garage door to get inside. 

It took nearly an hour, but firefighters were able to knock the fire down. There is extensive damage to the home, but it is not clear yet if it is a total loss. 

The residents of the home were reportedly not at home. Our reporter was told that they are on vacation.
