Main weather concerns: Showers and thunderstorms continue to increase throughout the afternoon, clearing out by early evening. Some of these storms can be stronger due to interaction with the sea breeze. The primary threats with these storms will be gusty winds and downpours.

WHAT IS THE WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE BEACHES IN CENTRAL FLORIDA?
More dry weather in the Forecast for Sunday. Showers and thunderstorms remain primarily in the late afternoon. Partly cloudy skies will be in the forecast all day long. Temperatures at the beaches will be in the upper 80s. The surf will be around 2ft with a moderate rip current risk. Make sure to apply plenty of sunscreen as burn times are around 30 minutes!

LOOKING AHEAD: Sunday will be another hot and humid day with a southerly flow. Sunday’s rain chances drop slightly to 40%-60%. Monday rain chances go back to the normal afternoon thunderstorms.
