Three supporters of white nationalist Richard Spencer were arrested Thursday in connection with an incident in which a shot was fired, according to Gainesville Police Department arrest reports.

William Henry Fears, 30; Colton Gene Fears, 28; and Tyler Eugene Tenbrink, 28; were charged with attempted homicide and held in the Alachua County jail. Tenbrink was also charged with being a felon in possession of a weapon.

The Gainesville Police confirmed via Twitter that a single shot was fired at 34th Street and Archer Road just before 5:30 p.m. No one was hit.

The shot occurred just hours following protests around White Nationalist Richard Spencer's speech on campus.
