Teen motorcyclist killed in crash in Orlando, troopers say

A motorcyclist is dead after crashing into the back of a car in Orange County on Sunday night, according to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP).

The crash happened shortly after 8 p.m. on Semoran Boulevard at Oleander Drive in Orlando.

Troopers said the rider – a 18-year-old Orlando man – was traveling southbound on Semoran Boulevard when a car in front of him slowed for traffic ahead.

The motorcyclist did not slow down and crashed into the back of the car, FHP said. 

The motorcycle rider was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. The driver of the car was not hurt and remained at the crash site.
