Teams search lake near where teen was shot
A teenager was found dead on a sidewalk inside an Oviedo-area apartment complex on Thursday, the Seminole County Sheriff's Office said.
OVIEDO, Fla. - A teenager was found dead on a sidewalk inside an Oviedo-area apartment complex on Thursday, the Seminole County Sheriff's Office said.
Deputies responded to the Mystic Cove Apartments on Mystic Lake Drive around 11:45 p.m. for a reported shooting, where they found 18-year-old Isaiah Perez deceased.
Detectives believe the shooting was an isolated incident, not a random act of violence.

A dive team with the sheriff's office spent part of Friday afternoon searching a pond near where Perez's body was discovered.
As of Friday evening, there had been no arrest in this case and the investigation is ongoing.
