Suspect who shot man outside of Ocoee bar turns himself in

OCOEE, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - The Orange County Sheriff's Office says that a suspect who has been on the run since last week has turned himself in.

They say that Lathon Jean Yee is accused of shooting another man outside of Frank's Place in Ocoee last week. Police say it started as an argument over a shot of alcohol. Yee and the victim walked outside to settle the argument and that is when officials say that Yee pulled out a gun, shooting the man in the foot.

Yee turned himself in on Tuesday. The warrant was confirmed for attempted second degree murder with a firearm and Yee was arrested. He has been booked into the Booking and Release Center without further incident.
