ORLANDO, Fla. - Yuniel Tamayo Gonzalez was arrested on Tuesday in connection to the armed robbery that happened at a New Smyrna gas station in November.
Just after 6 a.m.on Saturday, November 23, 2024, New Smyrna Beach Police responded to a robbery call at the Cirlcle K store located at 240 SR-44.

According to authorities, the suspect entered the store armed with a firearm and demanded cash from the register.
Less than a month after the incident, Gonzalez was arrested by the Springfield, Missouri Police Department.
He is currently being held on no bond at the Greene County Jail in Missouri awaiting extradition back to Volusia County.
