SR A1A reopens in Daytona Beach Shores after gas leak threat

DAYTONA BEACH SHORES, Fla. - A section of State Road A1A (S. Atlantic Ave.) was briefly closed in Volusia County late Saturday morning due to a gas leak at a construction site, the Daytona Beach Shores Department of Public Safety said.

The road was closed in both directions from Browning to Moore avenues as crews worked to fix the leak, which was resolved just after 11 a.m.
