ORLANDO, Fla. - SpaceX on Wednesday launched the Spanish communications satellite Hisdesat SpainSat NG I atop a Falcon 9 rocket from Launch Complex 39A (LC-39A) at Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
What is the Hisdesat SpainSat NG I mission?
Hisdesat is Spain's premier provider of secure satellite communications. It is set to launch its European Space Agency(ESA) - supported satellite, known as the SpainSat Next Generation I (SNG I), to provide a more affordable, adaptable and secure communication service for governments and emergency response teams across Europe, North and South America, Africa, the Middle East and to Singapore in Asia.

This was the 21st and final flight for the Falcon 9 first stage booster supporting this mission, because of the "additional performance required to deliver this payload to orbit," according to SpaceX.
The booster previously launched SES-22, ispace's HAKUTO-R MISSION 1, Amazonas-6, CRS-27, Bandwagon-1, GSAT-20, Thuraya-4, and 13 Starlink missions.
