SpaceX launches Inmarsat communications satellite from Florida
SpaceX successfully launched another communications satellite from Florida's Space Coast late Friday evening. At 10:59 p.m., a Falcon 9 blasted off from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, carrying with it the Inmarsat 6 F2 satellite.
CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. - SpaceX successfully launched another communications satellite from Florida's Space Coast late Friday night.
At 10:59 p.m., a Falcon 9 blasted off from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, carrying with it the Inmarsat 6 F2 satellite.
The first stage booster supporting this mission previously launched Crew-5 and GPS III Space Vehicle 06. Following stage separation, the first stage landed on the Just Read the Instructions droneship, which was stationed in the Atlantic Ocean.
