South Sumter High School 'lock out' lifted

SUMTER COUNTY, Fla. - South Sumter High School is no longer on a "lock out" on Wednesday. 

Deputies with the Sumter County Sheriff's Office investigated a rumored incident that allegedly took place on Tuesday, but said the rumor was unfounded. 

School has returned to normal operations. 

It was not made immediately clear what the incident was. 

No other details were released at this time.
