Self-driving shuttles are cruising into Central Florida.

You will soon see these autonomous shuttles riding around Lake Nona.

"It won't be long before many of us will give up our own personally owned vehicles and we'll be driven around in autonomous vehicles," said Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings during a press conference on Tuesday to introduce the first-of-its-kind in Orlando mobility station.

The shuttles are being launched by a company called Beep.Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer thinks the shuttles may even be safer than driving yourself.

"The shuttles have sensors instead of people that are looking down at iPhones or tuning their radios or being distracted."

You'll be able to ride the "Move Nona" autonomous shuttles sometime in the spring. They plan to start with two and grow the system from there.
