SeaWorld Orlando on Tuesday revealed the first of 15 custom rafts for its new Infinity Falls river rapids attraction opening summer 2018.

The 8-passenger raft features custom theming and décor resembling supplies found on real white-water rafting expeditions. The circular raft design puts riders face-to-face and allows friends and family to enjoy this exhilarating attraction together.

"It's a world record-breaking river raft ride, which will place our guests in the center of an action adventure in the middle of a tropical rainforest jungle," said Brian Morrow, vice president of Theme Park Design Experience at SeaWorld.

The new attraction will feature the world’s tallest drop on a river raft ride and allow visitors to experience the feel of exhilarating rapids. The ride will also feature an innovative elevator lift designed to transport the rafts to the top of the ride’s 40-foot drop.

"The world's record drop on any river raft ride on the planet is 'Infinity Falls,' and you'll go from the top of that drop, right down underneath the park pathway and splash down for a big finale to the ride," Morrow added.

SeaWorld unveiled the raft design at the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions expo being held in Orlando this week.
