SeaWorld Orlando announces first-ever 'SeaWorld Rescue Run'
ORLANDO, Fla. (FOX 35 ORLANDO) - SeaWorld & Busch Gardens Conservation Fund announced that will hold their first-ever race event.
They said that the race, titled 'SeaWorld Rescue Run,' will take place on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at SeaWorld Orlando. The inaugural event will benefit the SeaWorld & Busch Gardens Conservation Fund.
The race will take runners through the park's pathways before crossing the finish line at Shamu Stadium. There will also be an exclusive Killer Whale show at the conclusion of the event. Themed awards, medals for all participants, and plenty of surprises will be found along the way.
This event is family-friendly and there will be a Kids Run available for participants under ages 7.
Registration fees begin at $50 but will increase as the race gets closer. There will be an additional fee to view the Killer Whale show. Registration includes free parking.
Those who are 14 and under or 65 and over will receive $5 off registration. All SeaWorld employees, Annual Pass Members, and Military will receive 10 percent off through January 24th.
Registered runners will receive 50 percent off single-day SeaWorld Orlando tickets, valid between January 25th and February 9th, 2020.
