COCOA BEACH, Fla. (FOX 35 ORLANDO) - A water search brought rescuers to Cocoa Beach on Monday.
Officials say a 29-year-old man was in the water when he started struggling and was getting swept out to sea by a rip current.
The Coast Guard and Brevard County Sheriff's Office are assisting in the search.
Officials closed the beach, ordering everyone out of the water.
They say they will continue searching until daylight runs out.
