'Safe Streets' initiative kicks off, bike lane added to Curry Ford Road
ORLANDO, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - The City of Orlando is working to make the city bike and pedestrian friendly.
The Safe Streets initiative has kicked off.
The number of lanes for cars will be reduced and a bike lane will be added on Curry Ford Road between Bumby Avenue and Crystal Lake Drive.
This traffic project will be in place for weeks.
The City of Orlando actually won a grant to be part of this program.
