WINTER PARK, Fla. - Central Florida will soon get a taste of delicious Southern fried chicken, flaky biscuits and cheesy tots with the opening of the state's first Rise Southern Biscuits & Righteous Chicken restaurant this month!
The North Carolina-based chain held a soft opening for its first-ever Florida location in Winter Park on August 12. An official grand opening celebration is set for 7 a.m. on September 9. It'll be located at 110 S. Orlando Ave. next to Bulla Gastrobar and Sixty Vines.
On opening day, Rise will donate 10% of sales to nearby Bishop Moore Catholic High School, according to a press release. The first 100 customers at the grand opening event will receive a special sticker and a chance to win one of several prizes including a limited edition T-shirt, free biscuit or "Golden Ticket" which will get them free Rise for a year.
Rise also announced it plans to open a second location in Orlando, on the ground floor of downtown luxury apartment complex Radius at the corner of Rosalind Avenue and East Livingston. That location (355 N. Rosalind Avenue) is scheduled to open in winter 2023, according to a press release.
The tech-forward restaurant is known for its revamped breakfast and lunch menu that's available for order online or in app with convenient pick-up through heated food lockers. Some of the delicious offerings at Rise's 19 locations across the U.S. include cheddar biscuits, apple fritters, Southern fried chicken and more. Plus, you can even build your own biscuit or snack on fried okra.
The Winter Park location will be open from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. every day.
