On Monday, Port Canaveral will break ground on its newest cruise terminal.

The new terminal, which is being called the 'Launch Pad,' will be finished in Summer 2020. It will be a two-story, 185,000 square-foot terminal.

Launch Pad will be home to Carnival's newest cruise ship, the Mardi Gras. The ship is currently being built in Finland.

The $150 million terminal project is the largest single project in the history of Port Canaveral. It will include an elevated parking facility, wharf, and road improvements.

John Murray, the Captain at Port Canaveral, even said that there will be "video walls" and "plug-in stations" for those waiting to get on their ship.

A groundbreaking ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. at Port Canaveral.
